Each year schools from across the dioceses of Meath and Kildare make displays depicting Bible stories and enter them into a competition. The standard from every school is always remarkably high, showing great creativity and Bible knowledge. Congratulations to Monasterevin National School on winning the Bishop's Medal this year.

The presentation was made by Bishop Storey at a special Diocesan Schools Service in St Catherine's Church, Tullamore, on Tuesday 16 May. The service was led by Rev Isaac Delamere, Rector of Tullamore Union of Parishes. The address was given by Bishop Storey.

The Church was packed with up to 300 school pupils from across the dioceses.
