Welcome to Meath and Kildare! My name is Pat Storey and I am the Bishop of the United Dioceses. I was appointed in September 2013 where I have settled very happily.
I am married to Earl who runs his own PR and Communications business, and we have two grown up children, Carolyn and Luke. Carolyn is married to Peter, she is a primary schoolteacher and they live in Derry. Luke is on his adventure travelling the world for two years and is currently in Australia.
I enjoy walking our large Golden Retriever (Rudi), swimming, reading and creative writing, and I believe life should be fun!
My vision for the Diocese is that God can transform lives, one at a time. My life has been radically changed, and will continue to be, by my Christian faith. I passionately agree with the words of Bill Hybels who says that 'the local church is the hope of the world'.
It is my task and ministry to encourage others as they work in their own pastoral context.
We hope you will visit is in person soon!
May God bless you.
