Introducing Rev Sarah Marry

In preparation for the arrival of their new Rector, Rev Sarah Marry in August, the parishioners of Edenderry Union of Parishes thought it might be useful to get to know her a little better, so a few questions were posted to her about the things she likes most. Here are her replies:

"I found it hard to pin myself down on some of these questions... so please don't hold me to all of them, some however are sacrosanct.. as you get to know me I'll just let you figure out which!

Favourite colour - Blue
Favourite food - Indian and Italian food, big colourful salads, dark chocolate
Favourite time of year - Autumn
Favourite people - My family - Declan and our daughters Ella and Sophie and all the friends who keep me grounded
Unfulfilled ambition - To be a proper gardener and grow my own veg

Life pre-ministry - I worked in human resources, my last job was with Concern Worldwide in Dublin

Favourite pastime - Drawing and painting, walking (whilst harbouring an ambition to run), painting, wallpapering, tiling etc.. learning new skills as we do up our house (slowly but surely!), reading when I'm too exhausted from all that DIY to do anything else!"
